Tampere University Foundation sr is inviting tenders, for: Lot (part) 1: Hypoxia chamber. Lot (part) 2: Digital microscope. Tender can be submitted to only 1 lot or regarding both lots. Hypoxia chamber The Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology (MET) at Tampere University is a multidisciplinary unit dedicated to high-quality research and education in biomedical engineering, biotechnology, medicine, and health technology. MET conducts internationally acclaimed basic and applied research, focusing on areas such as biomedicine, biomaterials, tissue engineering, biomeasurements, bioimaging, computational methods and modelling, cell and molecular biology, and clinical medicine. Hypoxia chamber is used to culture cells, spheroids, and tissues under a controlled oxygen environment. Using the chamber system, one can perform long-term experiments under hypoxic conditions. In MET faculty, several research groups are focused on hypoxia-related research approaches. Chamber system should include separate chambers for working with cells and tissues and for microscopy. Currently, MET have no similar culturing systems available. Digital microscope The Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology (MET) at Tampere University is a multidisciplinary unit dedicated to high-quality research and education in biomedical engineering, biotechnology, medicine, and health technology. MET conducts internationally acclaimed basic and applied research, focusing on areas such as biomedicine, biomaterials, tissue engineering, biomeasurements, bioimaging, computational methods and modelling, cell and molecular biology, and clinical medicine. A digital microscope is used to image cell/tissue viability and other behaviors and responses and is mandatory part of hypoxia chamber system. The microscope should include an option for fluorescein detection.
