Aalto University (hereafter also “Customer” or "contracting entity") is looking for expert services (hereafter “Service”) for the Horizon Europe project UTOPIZE. The Service supports the design and implementation of cross-sectoral workshops, participatory co-design methods, AI-based visualization, digital twin integration, and policy recommendation development. UTOPIZE is a transdisciplinary initiative under the New European Bauhaus that reimagines public spaces through inclusive design, sustainability, and cultural resonance. Aalto University, Department of Architecture, is responsible for developing and leading several tasks within the work packages (WP1–WP4), with activities requiring advanced facilitation, technical visualization, and policy translation. This Service supports tasks where external expertise is critical due to technical complexity, required international benchmarking, and participatory engagement. More detailed description of the Service can be found in Annex 1 (The Work) of the Invitation to tender. Aalto University explicitly encourages tenderers from world-class academic institutions with relevant track records, including academic centres recognized for their excellence in cross-sectoral workshop design, community engagement, climate actions and digital spatial tools.
